Hi! My name’s Tiffany and I’m so glad you’ve stopped by!
I’m a Christian, a wife, a stay at home Mom of five (and 1/2, my husband provided me with a freebie when we got married), and an obsessive paper crafter!
I homeschool my littles who are in preschool and first grade this year. Our “big kids” started going to private school in 2015, and this year they’re in 6th and 8th grade.
On to the fun stuff… For about ten years, I was what I call an “alleged scrapbooker”. Let me explain; (You could be on
e too… 😉) That means that while I love scrapbooking, and all things paper-crafting, I rarely found time to do it. However, I still bought tons of stuff for this alleged hobby of mine that I love so much! Over the years I have used my Cricut for things like birthday parties, goodie bags for holidays, the occasional home decor project, etc. But the scrapbooking remained undone. Time continued to pass, and my pictures continued to pile up. I started working with a company called Close to my Heart, and while I’m still behind, it got me crafting a lot more. I love sharing my spirattic crafting fun, including tricks, techniques, and ideas with this amazing online community. I’d love it if you’d join the fun!
And crafting is how I got here. I suffered from sever post par tum depression after the birth of my third child. It wasn’t the only time I dealt with depression, but it was pretty bad. Not the kind where you think about hurting yourself or the baby. But still bad. I was in a very dark place and I found an outlet in just a few craft blogs that I found online. When the baby would nurse I’d watch tutorials. As time went on I realized I wanted to start a blog. I wanted to be able to be there for women that were going through what I went through, or something similar. So, I started what I thought was going to be a craft blog. It proved more difficult than I expected to get the tutorials up but my “Mommy” posts were going up weekly. It didn’t take me long to realize I wanted to do more than just crafting. Definitely still want to craft, but I also want to be an encouragement to you in other ways. Including helping you to “streamline your life” and do little things to make life a bit easier amidst the overwhelm. Not everyone will deal with depression and anxiety, but as Mommas there are lots of overwhelming issues, and trials. I hope to be a blessing to you and help you to “find your smile” in those times.
And the awesome kiddos I mentioned….?! Well they provide me with lots of entertainment, emotions, smiles, and trials (as does life) to discuss with you! Grab a cup of coffee. (And maybe a slice of cheesecake!) I hope you’ll stay a while…. 😊 We can journey together as we attempt to embrace life and “Smile through the trials”!!
